Shirur Kasar is a tehsil in Beed subdivision of Beed district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated on the southern bank of river ‘Sindafana’, a tributary of river Godavari. Shirur Kasar was made into a Tehsil in 1999. Prior to that, it was part of Patoda Tehsil of Beed district. Weekly Rashtra Nirman is one of the popular newspaper.
