Prophet Muhammad PBUH- ﷺ

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him), also known as the “Seal of the Prophets,” is the final prophet of Islam and the founder of the Islamic religion. He was born in Mecca in the Arabian Peninsula in 570 CE and received his first revelation from God through the angel Gabriel (Jibrail) at the age of 40, which marked the beginning of his prophethood.

Family Details: Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born into a family of modest means. His mother’s name was Aminah bint Wahb, and she passed away when he was only six years old. His grandfather, Abdul-Muttalib, was the head of the Banu Hashim clan and was highly respected in Mecca. After Abdul-Muttalib passed away, the responsibility of taking care of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ fell to his uncle, Abu Talib, who was also a prominent figure in Mecca.

Prophethood Period: In 610 CE, when Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was forty years old, he received his first revelation from God through the angel Gabriel while he was meditating in a cave on Mount Hira. This event marked the beginning of his Prophethood.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spent the next 23 years of his life spreading the message of Islam, which emphasizes monotheism, social justice, compassion, and personal responsibility. He taught his followers to worship only one God, Allah, and to follow the Five Pillars of Islam, which include the declaration of faith (Shahada), prayer (Salah), charity (Zakat), fasting (Sawm), and pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj).
