Renapur is a Town in Latur subdivision of Latur District in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the headquarters for Renapur Taluka. The town is located 20 kilometers from the city of Latur, the district administrative center. There is a temple of Renuka Devi in Renuka Devi temple a halti dikmal and there is a river named Rena. Because of these two reasons Renapur is very popular. There is a popular market named “Chandani chowk”.
History
History As usual Renapur also has historical background. Renapur was part of Hyderabad State. Under the British, Renapur was known as the land of freedom fighters.
Population
Renapur is a large village located in Renapur Taluka of Latur district, Maharashtra with total 3088 families residing. The Renapur village has a population of 14953 of which 7777 are males while 7176 are females as per Population Census 2011.
