Byculla is a neighborhood in South Mumbai. It is also the name of a railway station on the Mumbai suburban railway on the Central Railway line.
Byculla was one of the original stops on the first railway line in India connecting Bombay to Thane. The original wooden structure of this stop was rebuilt into a station building in 1857 and is considered to be the oldest railway station in the country.
